How to read Volvo 2018-2021 CEM SPC5748G 0N78S immo data and calculate security password using OBDSTAR X300 Classic G3.
The battery needs to be disconnected before removing the CEM module.
In G3 go to Volvo-> XC40-> Proximity-> CEM 2018-2021-> SPC5748G 0N78S
OBDSTAR G3 will also do SPC5747G (1N81M) and SC667320 (0N32E) CEMs.
G3 will show you wiring diagram
Connect the CEM module with G3 via C4 board.
The wiring length should not exceed 20cm, the shorter the better.
Connect CEM module.
Read and save immo data.
Select Security password
Upload immo data to calculate password.
Successfully read the password.
Reinstall CEM module back to vehicle
Then program keys using the password.
