Yanhua Mini ACDP2 2018- JLR smart key cloning review:
“ACDP Cloning Function Test
Tested ACDP’s cloning function using a used OEM UWB key.
It’s a 2021 Land rover Range Rover.
The process starts by reading the stored key IDs from the vehicle via OBD. Next, the working key is read directly by soldering to the PCB. ACDP then prepares the used OEM UWB key through soldering, followed by final programming through OBD.
Important note: There are two different types of key chips used in these keys. One type can be read directly on-board, while the other type must be removed from the PCB for reading.
During the process, ACDP gives a clear warning that UWB functionality is not supported and proximity will not work.
And the device did not lie.
Final result:
* Remote functions work
* Emergency start works
* Proximity/keyless entry does NOT work
So the used OEM UWB key can be successfully cloned and made functional, but only as a remote + emergency-start key. Full UWB/proximity functionality is not retained.”
