Question:
I need help to add a key for vw Jetta 2019 MQB48 4.5th generation immo system. Can I open the customer key and read the immo data using Keydiy KD-MP tool?
Solution:
This is UDS cluster system with mqb48 transponder in the key. You can’t read this type of key like a standard MQB platform key.
But you can just add key by OBD, just need to choose correct system.
Most of MQB 2018+ clusters are locked, that is true but never heard of UDS locked cluster. Only heard about some high soft version not supported for immo datareading or entering service mode if all keys lost.
If it’s locked need to read on bench.
