Here is the tip to program Honda CBR1000RR motorcycle key 93C66 using OBDSTAR devices (X300 DP Plus with motorcycle kit, G3 or MK70 motorcycle key programmer)
Write start key requires to enter RFID menu to read EEPROM data from IMMO module first.
DON’T start from IMMO menu.
OBDSTAR tools will also show you instructions. Read instruction below starting.
Instructions
I. Load files
1. Read the required file (EEPROM file) from the vehicle IMMO module and copy it to the following path:
Local\Home directory\DP\Serial number (12 digits)\DATA;
2. Click the “Load files” button in the lower left corner of the interface and select the EEPROM file copied from the previous step;
3. After the file is selected correctly, the name of the loaded data file, the position and status of all key transponders will be displayed on the right side of the interface;
Next, the operation of “Make keys” will be carried out;
II.Make keys
1. Click the key window on the right side of the interface to select the key position to be generated,
and then click the “Make keys” button to proceed to the next operation;
2. Connect the P001 programmer with the diagnostic equipment (the firmware needs to be upgraded for the first time,
and the key can be generated after the firmware upgrade is completed);
3. Place the new key into the P001 programmer;
4. Click the “OK” button after the above steps are completed, wait for the key to be generated successfully, and a new EEPROM file will be generated at the same time;
III.Write back files
1. The generated new file is saved in the original path, and the vehicle can be started with the new key after the new file is written back to the IMMO module.
