Another test report: just added a new key to a Mini Cooper 2008 CAS3+ ISTAP immo using CGDI Prog BMW key programmer.
Connect CGDI BMW with vehicle via OBD socket
Insert working key and turn on ignition switch
Open software, select BMW OBD Key Match
Read key information
Read key data success. Remove key from ignition.
Save key data.
Select Generate Dealer Key
Select first option, insert the key into CGDI BMW key programmer,press Next
Read the working key successfully
(If cgdi failed to read key info, try several times, it should work)
Insert a new blank key into CGDI Prog
Press OK to start program new key
New key programming is done.
Test the new key.
