First attempt:
Needed to add a key to a 2020 Ford Mustang today that I was not successful with Autel IM608 yet. Followed all the prompts and was not able to gain access. I believe my mistake was I said yes to active alarm and I answered yes. I believe it was asking if alarm was active and it was not. Also I was never prompted to turn ignition on.
Update: im608 works. Successfully added a proximity smart key. Have to do manual selection.
Alarm was active. If you chose Yes the system might have different communication. So select No then move.
Don’t need key on to program a Ford.
