Today we’re working on a 2017 Jeep Cherokee 5th generation (KL). The task is to program an additional key, as the buttons on the other keys stopped working.
Tool used:
Lonsdor K518 pro.
There are no risks associated with adding keys to these cars. It’s all done via the OBD2 port and takes about 10 minutes. The only caveat is obtaining the PIN code for programming the keys, and the fact that these keys have a slightly different chip.
