Problem:
I tried to renew this BMW F30 FEM module with Autel IM608 after I modified the m95126 eeprom when I go to process the ECU it fails at the end and the issue becomes non-responsive bricked.
Error “Programming failed, restore the EEPROM data to prevent loss of version information”
Any solution?
Solution:
1st try upgrade to flash supported version !
2nd special function ecu erasure, will delete everything on fem, renew as new, write vin and isn, program keys on car via OBD.
Go to System Selection->Immobilizer->FEM/BDC Immobilizer->Special function->ECU erasure reset.
This function will erase immobilizer data storaged in ECU, after that FEM/BDC will restore original module status without immobilizer data.
Network connection is required to perform this function.
